The Big Repair Operation

Hi. It is not really an operation, but I want to make my case. I could even start a petition. I want to chase the sunset by the sea and shout, 'There are too many repair vehicles!' And most of them are fairly complicated.

This came in because the engine would not start. It is not immediately clear what has gone wrong. Then…

I removed a broken stud bolt and fitted a new one. I started the engine, but the idle is unstable. Another job that is not finished yet.

We are fitting a rake kit. The front forks are also leaking oil, so let's repair those while we are at it.

There is a little rust. For now, I polished the inner tubes and decided to reuse them this time. I am also checking the ABS warning light. I found the cause, but I do not have the part. We will have to order it from the manufacturer. So it is still not finished.

That is as far as we can go for now.

Then a message arrived from National Powersport Auctions congratulating PROJECT TOMBOY on renewing its membership and looking forward to continuing business with us. Apparently it had switched to automatic renewal without me noticing.

It is an American auction company, but with the yen this weak, importing vehicles is not something we can do casually. I wish something could be done about Japan's economy.

Anyway, see you.
