RAKE KIT

A rake kit has arrived from Motor Trike in Texas. Installing it is quite a job. Let's open the box.

Here is the steering stem. Motor Trike describes its rake kit as a way to reduce steering effort and improve the feel of a Gold Wing trike. Its design changes the steering geometry using a machined billet aluminium assembly while retaining the relevant original Honda components.

That is the explanation in the manufacturer's material. Put simply, it makes the steering lighter and helps reduce handlebar shake. If you are interested in having one fitted, please get in touch.
